Today we continue to push our strength focus with some deadlifts followed by hip thrusts as an accessory movement. We have also programmed some “Body Armor” work as well. A “Body Armor” piece is designed not just to develop strength but also to help protect us from injury (ie armor). These movements will give us a strong base to allow us to continue to trade hard safely.

STRENGTH

Deadlift- 4-4-4-4-4, 1xMax Reps @ 90%
Weighted Barbell Hip Thrusts- 10-10-10-10

BODY ARMOR

3×20 KB Front Rack Lunge
3×15 Ring Rows
3×50m Suitcase + Waiters Carry w/ KB

 If you are beat up from the back squats yesterday don’t be afraid to take it easy on the front rack lunges. With the hip thrusts and lunges you are going to really feel it in the glutes today.
