NOW OFFERING NUTRITIONAL PRODUCTS FROM PODIUM
If you haven’t noticed at the front of the main gym, we have recently started carrying nutritional products from Podium. They were recommended by Coach Jenna and our other coaches and we happy to offer them up as a choice to support our athletes with their fitness goals.
We know that one of the biggest needs for our athletes is getting enough high quality protein in their diet with their busy schedules. We have a number of Podium Whey protein products, that are perfect for a post workout drink or ensuring that you are hitting your protein numbers.
We also are offering Fuse, which is a pre-workout drink that might help you get the most out of your workouts. Be aware that it does have caffeine, so it might not be the best choice for late night classes.
And finally we have a Hydro + Salt BCAA mix, which offers the electrolytes and Branch Chain Amino acids for post workout recovery.
We are also working on a partnership with Thorne, which is a more comprehensive resource for nutrition, testing, and supplement products. We hope to be launching an Cove online store in the coming weeks.

NOON CLASSES – NOW ON MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY
We have always had the most class options of any of the CrossFit gyms in the Columbia area and also provide the benefit of open gym access to our members as well. We do this with the thought that attendance is the key to our members finding success at the gym.
With that said, during the summer we know people’s schedules have become more challenging and we have had the request to add a noon class back. On a trial basis, we will be adding back our noon classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. Assuming we can see solid attendance with these classes, we will may look to add additional days.
We try our best to make the best part of your day here at the Cove and we hope these additional class times give you the chance to visit us more and throw down with your fellow Covies.

COMMITTED CLUB WINNER – JOSH B
MAY COVE COMMITTED CLUB
The most important metric to us at the Cove is attendance. We know that people who make our classes regularly, not only find success in their own fitness goals, but encourage and inspire others
To encourage attendance at the Cove, we like to set a goal for our members to make 14 classes per week. We know that many of you are busy with summer, but we are hoping that you can find the time to make it to class 3 to 5 times week (scaling the intensity appropriately of course). If you can’t make it to class, we encourage you to try to do the gym workout at home if you can or maybe look into one of our travel workouts and sign into our “At Home” class.
As part of the committed club, we randomly pick one of them to win a prize and this month’s winner’s is one of the strongest and most consistent newest members of the gym, Josh B. He inspires so many of us with his insane levels of strength. We want to highlight his amazing success with his fitness goals, as he has lost of 20+ pounds this year!
Congratulations Josh and we hope to see all of you at the gym.
Congratulations Josh B and everyone be sure to wish him a happy birthday tomorrow.

COVE HOSTING CROSSFIT LEVEL I ON JULY 6TH and 7TH
Just a heads up, the Cove will be hosting the CrossFit Level I seminar on July 6th and 7th. We will not have classes on this date, although the gym is available for use after 6 PM via the Cove Kastle app.
This is a huge honor for the Cove and it has been an invaluable resource to the gym and our coaching staff.
