Nutrition Coaching

At the Cove, our classes are more than workouts—they’re a vital part of your routine and often the highlight of your day. We value the empowerment and community they bring.

But the real transformation happens beyond the gym. To fully embrace the power of CrossFit, it’s essential to focus on the remaining 23 hours of the day. This means cultivating healthy habits in areas like nutrition, sleep, and stress management.

The Cove is lucky to be the home of John Creveling Nutrition.  Coach John is a CrossFit Level 3 and Precision Nutrition coach, focused on creating healthy habits in food and fitness. As the resident nutrition coach at the Cove, John offers two programs to our athletes that can help you find success depending upon your needs.

Small Group Nutrition Coaching

We have seen first-hand the power of community and group accountability to the success of the athletes within our classes and Coach John has leveraged this power in the nutrition world as well.

Much like a CrossFit class, the aim is to get a group of like-minded athletes who want to improve their nutrition by way of:

  • Coach-lead teaching and knowledge
  • Group accountability 
  • Group motivation

Pushing each other to stick with and achieve their goals, just like a regular class.

This program consists of:

  • Personal Nutrition Guide with macros
  • Weekly group check-ins
  • Monthly InBody Scan reviews (to determine what changes need to be made to your plan)
  • A private Facebook page to ask any and all questions/unlimited support 

 

Individual Nutrition Coaching

Through this nutrition program, we will teach people how to create, implement, and consistently carry out habits that will help them reach their health and fitness goals.  Everybody’s nutritional goals and needs are different.  Whether it’s weight loss, muscle growth,  or overall performance in your workouts, these different goals require different individual approaches.  As a Nutrition Coach, I will help determine which approach best fits your needs and develop customized plans that address your goals.
