HALLOWEEN PLANS AT THE COVE
HALLOWEEN PLANS AT THE COVE
We have two fun activities for this year’s Halloween season. First, starting on Wednesday, October 28th we are taking entries for the First Annual Cove Pumpkin Carving Contest. It is similar to our Cake Bakeoff but just not as tasty. We will have a table set up at the Cove for these works of art and vote on the best pumpkin after Halloween.
Secondly, we are going to celebrate Halloween one day early next Friday with a fun and scary partner wod. We encourage you to wear a costume and enjoy the fun a workout with some extra gear on. We have had some great outfits in the past and we expect this year to be awesome.

EXPANDING CLASS SIZE
BIG DAY
As we work our way through this COVID-19 world, we have been refining our programming, coaching, and safety protocols as a gym. We are continuing to refine things even now but as of right now we feel confident to expand our class sizes of 17 members. To continue keep our safe distancing protocols, we are going to expand our working area to the garage doors. For tomorrow’s workout we actually put out 21 stations, knowing only 17 can be used and each one is distanced more than 9 feet apart. To give you a sense of the spacing, we included a video of our setup for the classroom for tomorrow.
We know how important strengthening our immune systems in today’s world and safely expanding class sizes will allow more of our members to be able to make the classes that work for them. We ask that you continue to follow the safety protocols we have established and be understanding of the needs all the athletes of the Cove. This gym is all about supporting one another and we see that every day with our classes.
